NWCO Permit Requirements
Pennsylvania requires an NWCO permit for a person who, for another person, takes, harasses, transports, releases or dispatches designated wildlife in response to wildlife nuisance, property-damage, or human-health and safety concerns.
Pennsylvania also requires an NWCO permit for a person who solicits or offers the services of taking, harassing, transporting, releasing or dispatching designated wildlife for another person in response to wildlife nuisance, property-damage, or human-health and safety concerns.
Operating Requirements
Pennsylvania NWCO operating requirements include checking control devices at least once each calendar day.
Operating rules restrict the removal of captured wildlife from control devices to the permitted agent.
Pennsylvania NWCO operating requirements require carrying the permit and presenting the permit when required.
Special written permission from the Director must be obtained before destroying or euthanizing five or more bats at one location.
Additional species and federal restrictions remain applicable to Pennsylvania NWCO operations.
